The Sargent 80 Series MD8674F-12V is a heavy-duty rim exit device engineered for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified security and reliability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and institutional buildings, this 12V right-hand reverse device eliminates security vulnerabilities while maintaining code-compliant emergency egress on doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick.
Installation requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile width and rail selection based on door width (E, F, J, or G rail options).
