Description
The Norton 8501 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior applications requiring reliability and durability. Built with cast aluminum construction and a rack-and-pinion mechanism, it handles up to 10 million cycles and accommodates spring power settings from size 1 through 6. The full plastic cover and non-handed design make it suitable for doors of either hand.
This closer projects only 2-1/8" from the door surface and features independent hex-key adjustable valves for sweep speed and latch speed control, plus adjustable backcheck intensity.
