Description
The DormaKaba Simplex R8148M-05-41 is a mechanical pushbutton lock designed for controlled access in offices, healthcare facilities, and secured areas. With no keys, cards, batteries, or programming required, it eliminates management overhead while allowing combinations to be changed in seconds without door removal.
This lock fits standard 86 mortise preparation on wood or metal doors (1¾" to 2¼" thick) with a 2¾" backset and ¾" latch. It includes a cast front housing, vandal-resistant metal keypad, ADA-compliant fixed levers, and supports small-format interchangeable cores (Best equivalent) or large-format removable cores (Medeco, ASSA, Yale, Abloy, Corbin Russwin, Schlage, Sargent).
