The Sargent 1256-8846J is a Grade 1 rim exit device built for standard-width stile applications on wood and metal doors up to 1-3/4 inches thick. It provides single-point latching, quiet operation, and solid security for single or double door installations with mullions, meeting ANSI A156.3 and UL Fire and Panic standards.
This reversible device fits door widths of 24 to 32 inches with the E Rail (no cutting required for 32-inch doors).
