The Sargent 5556-8846J is an 8800 Series rim exit device built for standard-width stile applications on wood and metal doors up to 1-3/4" thick. This reversible, single-point latching device meets ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 standards and delivers industry-leading durability, reliability, and quiet operation for single or double door installations with mullions.
The 32D model fits doors 24" to 32" wide with no cutting required at 32". Sargent exit devices are UL Fire and Panic listed for code-compliant safety. As an authorized E.D.
