The Falcon SC61A is a light- to medium-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for small offices, retail storefronts and mixed-use buildings. Its single-piece cast aluminum body with 1-3/8 inch heat-treated steel piston delivers strength and reliability for interior aluminum doors. Non-handed design fits left or right-swinging doors without modification, solving retrofit challenges fast.
The SC61A mounts three ways using the industry-standard hole pattern, requiring no new drilling or adapter plates. Separate adjustable controls for general speed, latch speed and back check adapt to changing climates. ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified, UL listed and backed by Allegion's 10-year warranty.
