The Falcon SC81A is a medium-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for light- to medium-duty interior and exterior applications. Ideal for side doors, closets, and bathrooms in schools, retail shops, restaurants, and small offices, this non-handed closer provides ADA-compliant, flexible installation with adjustable spring sizes (1-6) that prevent slamming while ensuring reliable latching.
The SC81A features a 1-1/4 inch heat-treated steel piston, tri-mount capability for hinge-side or top-jamb installation, and separate adjustable controls for speed, latch, and back-check. Built to ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 standards with a 10-year warranty, it mounts on either left- or right-swinging doors without modification.
