The Falcon SC71A is a heavy-duty surface closer engineered for high-traffic commercial and institutional doors. Its single-piece cast aluminum body, heat-treated forged steel piston, and double heat-treated pinion deliver reliable performance in schools, retail, restaurants, offices, and apartment complexes. Non-handed design fits left or right swinging doors.
The SC71A is UL listed, ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 certified, and meets ADA and ANSI A117.1 accessibility standards. Features include adjustable general speed, latch speed, and backcheck, plus spring sizes 1-6.
