The Falcon T501BD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial applications. It withstands heavy abuse with a compression spring that exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing. The removable cylinder allows quick re-keying, making retrofits simple and cost-effective for facility managers and building owners.
This lock fits standard 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" doors with 2-3/4" backset; thin-door adapters and alternate backsets are available. Brass and zinc-plated steel construction resists rust, while stainless steel springs ensure durability.
