The Norton 8301H is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior commercial applications. This non-handed closer solves the challenge of controlling door swing speed and closing force across temperature extremes, from -40°F to high heat, making it ideal for high-traffic facilities that demand reliable performance over millions of cycles.
The 8301H uses rack-and-pinion mechanics with a cast aluminum body and projects just 2-1/8" from the door surface with its standard slim-line plastic cover. Hex-key adjustable valves let you tune sweep speed, latch speed, and backcheck intensity to your door weight and application.
