The Norton 8501 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for commercial and institutional applications requiring reliable, durable performance. It combines a cast aluminum body with rack-and-pinion mechanics to deliver smooth operation across interior and exterior doors, solving the need for consistent, maintenance-friendly access control on high-traffic entryways.
The 8501 accommodates both left- and right-hand doors without modification and installs on either side of the frame.
