The Norton 8501H is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior commercial applications. Built with a cast aluminum body and rack-and-pinion mechanism, it delivers reliable performance across extreme temperatures (-40°F to high heat) and exceeds 10 million cycles. Non-handed design fits doors of either swing.
This closer features multi-size spring power adjustment (sizes 1-6), independent hex-key valves for sweep and latch speed control, adjustable backcheck intensity, and delayed-action closing capability.
