The Sargent WD8606J is a Grade 1 exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional facilities requiring durability and compliance. This rim-mounted panic bar secures left-hand reverse applications on 1 3/4" minimum doors and exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle strength. Its modular design minimizes maintenance while delivering reliable emergency egress.
The WD8606J uses a J-rail for 37" to 42" door widths (factory-cut to size) and pairs with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes.
