The Sargent 80 Series WD8643E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional facilities requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and reliability. This left-hand reverse rim-mounted device features modular construction with minimal moving parts, delivering maintenance-free operation and durability throughout the building's life.
The WD8643E fits metal doors 1.75" to 2.25" thick and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike rated for panic and fire egress. Optional features include delayed egress, alarm, beacon, photoluminescent coating, and electric latch retraction.
