The Sargent 80 Series WD8646E is a heavy-duty exit device built for facilities demanding maximum security and durability throughout the building's lifetime. Engineered for metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards for cycle strength. Its modular design with minimal moving parts eliminates maintenance while delivering superior performance in commercial, institutional and industrial applications.
Available in multiple rail sizes (E, F, J, G) to fit door widths 24" to 48", this RHR configuration includes 650 top and 606 bottom strikes compatible with panic and fire-rated requirements. Optional electric features such as delayed egress, remote latch retraction, and photoluminescent coatings customize the device for unique needs.
