Description
The Sargent 6500 Series 28-65G04 KP 3 is a Grade 2 key-in-lever cylindrical lock built for standard-duty commercial and institutional applications. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, making it ideal for offices, schools, and light-traffic facilities where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This lock installs on standard bored-hole prep (ANSI A115.2 modified, 161 pattern) with a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). It accepts LA keyway cylinders and ships with two nickel silver keys.
