The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to meet ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements. Designed for interior and passage doors, this universal-hand lock provides reliable keyed access control for offices, schools, and commercial facilities where moderate security is needed.
This lock fits doors 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch thick with a standard 2-3/4 inch backset (2-3/8 inch optional). It features a brass cylinder with LA keyway, universal hand orientation, and includes two nickel silver keys. Choose from multiple finishes and strike options to match your door preparation.
