The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard duty key-in-lever lock built for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and suits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, making it ideal for offices, schools, and light-traffic facilities that need reliable keyed access control.
This lock fits ANSI A115.2 (161) modified prep with a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). Includes two nickel silver keys, universal hand, and choice of brass or stainless steel strike. E.D.
