The Sargent 6500 Series 28-65U65 KP 10 is a Grade 2 key-in-lever cylindrical lock built for standard-duty commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, making it ideal for offices, schools, and light-traffic facilities where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This lock installs on doors with 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional), accepts ANSI A115.2 (161) modified bore prep, and ships with two nickel silver keys and a brass 6-pin LA keyway cylinder.
