The Sargent 6500 series is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to exceed ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements. Designed for commercial and institutional doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, it delivers reliable security and durability for offices, schools, and facilities where consistent performance matters.
This lock fits ANSI A115.2 (161) modified door prep with a 2-3/4" standard backset (2-3/8" optional). It features a universal hand design, brass 1/2" throw latch, and 6-pin brass cylinder in LA keyway. Available finishes include polished brass (3), satin brass (4), satin bronze (10), and stainless steel options (26, 26D). Contact E.D.
