The Sargent 6500 series is a standard-duty key-in-lever lock built for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". This universal-hand lock delivers reliable security and smooth operation for moderate-traffic applications requiring durable keyed entry.
This model features a 2-3/4" standard backset, brass cylinder with LA keyway, and comes with two nickel silver keys. It installs per ANSI A115.2 specifications on doors with minimum 4-1/2" stiles.
