The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to meet ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 standards. Ideal for commercial and institutional facilities, this universal hand lock secures interior and exterior doors from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, solving security needs where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This lock fits standard ANSI A115.2 (161) modified door prep with a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). Available in multiple finishes and strike options to match your installation requirements.
