The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, solving security and access control needs for offices, schools, and facilities requiring reliable keyed entry.
This lock features a 2-3/4" standard backset (2-3/8" optional), universal hand design, and brass construction with multiple finish options. Compatible with ANSI A115.2 modified prep and standard 600 curved lip strikes.
