The Sargent 6500 Series is a commercial-grade key-in-lever lock built for standard-duty interior and exterior doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and suits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, making it ideal for offices, schools, and multi-tenant buildings where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This model features a 2-3/4" backset, universal hand design, and brass construction with stainless steel components. Fits standard ANSI A115.2 (161) bored preparation with a 4-1/2" minimum stile.
