The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to exceed ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements. Ideal for commercial and institutional facilities, it provides reliable access control for interior and exterior doors ranging from 1-3/8" to 1-4" thick, solving the need for durable, code-compliant locking hardware.
This universal-hand lock installs on standard ANSI A115.2 (161) door preparation with a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional).
