The Sargent 6500 is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to exceed ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements. Ideal for commercial and institutional facilities, this lock provides reliable security and smooth operation for interior and exterior doors while meeting demanding durability standards.
Fits door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" with a standard 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). Compatible with ANSI A115.2 (161) Modified prep and 600 curved lip strikes in brass or stainless steel.
