Description
The Sargent 6500 is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for commercial and institutional doors. Built to ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 standards, it combines durability with universal hand operation, making it ideal for offices, schools, and facilities requiring reliable keyed entry control on 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick doors.
This lock fits doors prepped to ANSI A115.2 (161) specifications with a 4-1/2" minimum stile and accepts 2-3/4" or 2-3/8" backsets. Strike options include 600 Curved Lip, 808 ANSI Curved Lip, or 505 Full Lip in brass or stainless steel. As an authorized Sargent dealer, E.D.
