The LCN 4040XP-72MC is a heavy-duty institutional door closer built for high-traffic commercial and institutional applications. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and LCN's V-shield seal with 20% longer life. This non-handed closer delivers reliable, durable performance in demanding environments where standard closers fall short.
The 4040XP mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm (with optional PA bracket) on either right or left swinging doors, with adjustability for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
