Description
The LCN 4040XP-79LR 639 is a heavy-duty institutional door closer engineered for high-traffic applications. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion with 3/4" journal diameter, and LCN's V-shield seal with 20% extended life. Built from cast iron, forged steel, and double heat-treated steel, this non-handed closer delivers reliable performance in demanding environments.
This closer mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors, fitting interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It is UL and cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 grade one standards and works with all 4040 accessories.
