The LCN 4040XP-79ELR 639 is a heavy-duty institutional door closer engineered for high-traffic commercial and demanding applications. Features 44% increased bearing load capacity, a 3/4" pinion journal, and V-shield seals with 20% longer lifespan. Built from cast iron, forged steel, and double heat-treated steel components, it delivers superior durability in real-world conditions.
This non-handed closer mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm for left or right swinging doors. The non-sized cylinder adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
