The LCN 4040XP-CUSH is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer built for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and the widest bearing at 5/8". The V-shield seal lasts 20% longer than previous models, making it ideal for facilities demanding maximum durability and reliability.
This closer works on doors up to 5'0" (interior) and 4'0" (exterior), and mounts hinge-side, top-jamb, or parallel arm configuration on right or left-swinging doors.
