Description
The LCN 4040XP-CUSH is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional, commercial, and demanding applications. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and the widest bearing at 5/8", plus LCN's V-shield seal with 20% longer life. Non-handed design works on right or left swinging doors.
This closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm bracket and adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". UL and cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 Grade One, it's available in standard or custom powder coat finishes, with optional plated finish and SRI primer for corrosive environments.
