Description
The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer built for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. It delivers 44% increased bearing load capacity, a 3/4" journal pinion, and a V-shield seal rated 20% longer life. Cast iron, forged steel, and double heat-treated steel construction ensures durability in demanding applications.
This non-handed closer installs on hinge side, top jamb, or with optional parallel arm bracket on either left or right swinging doors. It adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0", meets ADA requirements, and is UL and cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 Grade One.
