The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic environments. It features a 3/4" forged steel pinion, 5/8" bearing width, and 44% increased load capacity, making it one of the strongest closers available. The V-shield seal extends component life by 20%, while the non-handed design accommodates doors up to 5 feet (interior) or 4 feet (exterior).
This closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket on either right or left swinging doors. LCN's Fast Power Adjust and Fast Installation system reduce setup time.
