The LCN 4040XP-HEDA is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. Its extra-protection design features a 44% increased bearing load capacity, 3/4-inch forged steel pinion, and V-shield seals rated for 20% longer life, solving durability challenges in demanding applications.
This right-hand, non-handed closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket on either swing direction. Adjustable for interior doors to 5 feet and exterior doors to 4 feet, it meets ADA requirements and is UL and cUL listed under ANSI A156.4 grade one.
