The LCN 4040XP-REG 693 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer built for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. It features a 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and a reinforced V-shield seal for extended durability. Ideal for facilities managing constant foot traffic and demanding door cycles.
This non-handed closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm configuration for both interior and exterior doors up to 5 feet. It is UL and cUL listed, ANSI A156.4 Grade One certified, and adjustable for doors of varying sizes.
