The LCN 4040XP-SCUSH 693 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. It features a cast iron and forged steel construction with a double heat-treated steel pinion, delivering 44% increased bearing load capacity and the strongest pinion ever designed. The new V-shield seal extends seal life by 20%, making it ideal for demanding applications requiring durability and reliability.
This non-handed closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket on right or left swinging doors. It adjusts for interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet, and meets ADA requirements. UL and cUL listed, it's available with standard or custom powder coat finishes, optional plated hardware, or SRI primer for corrosive environments.
