The LCN 4040XP-REG is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic applications. It delivers 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and an advanced V-shield seal with 20% longer life. Cast iron and forged steel construction with double heat-treated pinion provides exceptional durability in demanding environments.
This non-handed closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm position for right or left swinging doors. The adjustable non-sized cylinder accommodates interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
