The LCN 4040XP-SCUSH is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer built for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. Its reinforced design features a 3/4" pinion journal, 5/8" bearing, and strengthened pinion teeth that deliver 44% greater bearing load capacity than standard closers. The V-Shield seal extends seal life by 20%, making it ideal for facilities demanding maximum durability and reliability.
This right-hand closer mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm configuration and accommodates interior doors to 5 feet and exterior doors to 4 feet.
