Description
The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty institutional door closer engineered for high-traffic, demanding environments. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and LCN's V-shield seal with 20% longer life. The XP designation means eXtra Protection in real-world applications. Non-handed design fits interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
This closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with the parallel arm bracket on either right or left swinging doors. Cast iron body with double heat-treated steel pinion ensures durability. UL and cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 grade one standards.
