The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial environments. Features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and V-shield seals with 20% longer life. This non-handed closer delivers reliable performance in demanding applications.
Mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm (with PA bracket) for right or left swinging doors. Adjustable for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0", it meets ADA requirements and is UL/cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 Grade One.
