It features a reinforced pinion with 3/4" journal diameter, 44% increased bearing load capacity, and an enhanced V-shield seal for extended durability. This non-handed closer delivers reliable self-closing performance on interior and exterior doors.
The 4040XP accommodates door heights up to 5 feet (interior) and 4 feet (exterior), and mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with an optional parallel arm bracket. It's UL and cUL listed, ANSI A156.4 Grade 1 certified, and ADA compliant.
