Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series mortise deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for institutional and commercial doors. Its unique bolt holdback feature lets you reverse-turn the key to retain the bolt fully retracted, enabling free two-way passage when needed and exit-only restriction at other times. Perfect for hospitals, schools, and office buildings requiring variable access control.
The 4900 works with standard mortise cylinders (MS cam) in three backsets: 31/32", 1-1/8", and 1-1/2". It retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and replaces MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts without stile modification. Includes flat and radius faceplates, strike options, and reversible brass latch bolt. Contact E.D. Locks at sales@edlocks.com or 1-877-207-6067 for expert guidance on handing, strike selection, and cylinder ordering.
