Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch provides flexible traffic control for commercial doors requiring alternating free entrance and exit-only access. This steel mortise lock features a reverse-key bolt hold mechanism, solid brass latch bolt, and stainless steel auxiliary pin to prevent forced entry, making it ideal for schools, offices, and facilities managing variable access needs.
The 4900 retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and is interchangeable with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of matching backset and faceplate without stile modification. Available in three cylinder backsets (31/32", 1-1/8", 1-1/2"), it ships with flat and radius faceplates, strike, and mounting hardware.
