The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for commercial doors requiring variable access patterns. This mortise lock allows two-way traffic during open hours and exit-only restrictions at other times by reversing the key while the bolt is held retracted. Ideal for offices, hospitals, and facilities needing reversible security without costly modifications.
The 4900 retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and swaps directly with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of matching backset and faceplate. Steel case with corrosion-resistant plating, solid brass reversible latch bolt, and stainless steel auxiliary latch pin prevent loiding. Available in three cylinder backsets: 31/32 inch, 1-1/8 inch, and 1-1/2 inch.
