Description
The Sargent 6500 series is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for commercial and institutional doors. It meets ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and suits doors 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch thick. Universal hand design works on any door orientation, making it ideal for facilities managing multiple entries without hand-specific inventory.
This lock installs on doors prepped to ANSI A115.2 standard with a 2-3/4 inch backset (2-3/8 inch optional). Strike options include 600 curved lip, 808 ANSI curved lip, and 505 full lip in brass or stainless steel.
