The Adams Rite 8420M2 is a life-safety exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum doors requiring mortise locking. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar available in multiple finishes, this non-handed device solves the challenge of combining code-compliant emergency egress with secure access control on high-traffic commercial and institutional entrances.
Compatible with standard 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" door thickness and adjustable for doors up to 8 feet tall (10 feet with optional kit), the 8420M2 accepts standard rim cylinders and mortise cylinders with MS cam.
