The Adams Rite 8420SE37230 is a life-safety exit device designed specifically for narrow stile aluminum doors. It features a mortise locking solution with an extruded aluminum pushbar available in multiple finishes. This non-handed device solves the challenge of meeting code-compliant emergency egress on modern aluminum storefront and curtain wall applications.
The 8420SE37230 fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" and adjusts to accommodate doors up to 8 feet tall. Pushbar lengths are available for 30", 36", 42", and 48" openings and can be field-cut to smaller widths.
