The Adams Rite 8420MLR is a life-safety exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum doors requiring mortise locking. Non-handed design with field-reversible lever entry trim suits doors up to 8 ft tall and 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick. Pushbar lengths available for 30", 36", 42", and 48" openings, with bar height adjusting 30" to 44". Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities prioritizing code compliance and security.
Installation requires minimum 3-7/8" stile width and standard self-tapping screws; optional Sex Bolt Kits and Tall Door Kits available separately for 10 ft doors. Accepts standard rim cylinders or mortise cylinders with MS cam (sold separately).
