The Adams Rite 8420MLR is a life-safety exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum door applications requiring mortise locking. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar in multiple finishes, this non-handed device solves the challenge of combining code-compliant emergency egress with secure access control on high-traffic doors.
Compatible with door thicknesses from 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" and stile widths of 3 3/4" minimum, the 8420MLR installs on standard 8-foot doors (up to 10 feet with optional tall door kit).
